In a notification to staff, Guardian Childcare Victoria revealed that a threat actor had breached its systems and stolen identification documents that were submitted when students were first enrolled.

“Following an extensive investigation of the incident, we have become aware that a scanned image of the ID document you provided at the time of your visit may have been compromised by the attacker,” an email sent by the childcare provider stated.
